Most clients of CloudCard want to bring users into the application from another data source (student information system, mailing list, CRM, etc). For many of our customers, the CSV bulk import system bundled into the application will be quite effective at solving this problem. However, some customers will want something a little more automatic, and may want to implement their own External Importer.
The process for implementing users is fairly simple:
- For each user you want to create, simply make a Create or Update a Person request. That request includes several options that will enable you to tweak how your users get imported, and whether or not they get an email, or if you redirect them to the application manually.
