Implementation Overview

As we all know, implementing enterprise software can get complicated very quickly. Who’s responsible for this again? When were we supposed to have that completed? Is anyone ever going to respond to my emails?! It can get stressful 😤. This page is designed to cut through the fog and give all parties a high-level view of what to expect throughout the course of a CloudCard implementation.

Pre-implementation	Placement in the Implementation Queue	CloudCard has unlimited spots available in the Implementation queue. Once we receive a PO, we will place you in the last slot of the queue. Your position in the queue dictates the priority of you implementation to CloudCard. Please view the Implementation Queue page for more information.
Pre-implementation	Organization Settings Questionnaire	After we receive the purchase order, we will send you the organization settings questionnaire. It’s designed to help us customize the application to your specific needs. Send it back once you’re finished, and we’ll get right to work!
Pre-implementation	Pre-Integration Questionnaire	If you purchased any integration, we will send you the integration questionnaire. This document is designed to answer three major questions: How do you want to get cardholder data into CloudCard? How do you want students to access CloudCard? How do you want to move photos from CloudCard to your card production or access control system?
Kick-Off (official start of implementation)	Schedule the Kick-off Meeting	This is the official start of the implementation. This meeting is designed to clarify any information on the Organization Settings Questionnaire or the Pre-Integration Questionnaire. Additionally, we will identify the projects we expect to complete as part of the implementation. Both questionnaires must be filled out before scheduling a Kick-Off Call.
Organizations will work with CloudCard on any/all/none of the following integration projects depending on the plan and add-ons purchased.
Implementation	General Configuration	Custom logo, colors, emails, settings, ect.
Implementation	CSV Importer	Automates the Bulk Import through a csv scheduled program.
Implementation	Photo Downloader	Automates the addition of photos to the database or file system.
Implementation	SSO Connector	Integrates CloudCard with the customer’s single sign-on server, which allows their users to log into CloudCard using their organizational username and password. The SSO Connector can also provision new Online Photo Submission accounts if necessary.
Implementation	Custom URL (http://photos.myorganzation.com)	Allows an organization to configure Online Photo Submission to use their custom domain.
Implementation	Custom From Address	Allows an organization to send emails from a custom email address using DKIM records.

The above timeline begins once we have received a purchase order. All of the projects included in the implementation phase are optional because there are plenty of times when some projects do not make sense for a customer.
